Our Love Story
Our story began with a match on Tinder—and a first date that took a little improvising.
With restaurants closed and everything shut down, we met at Fourways Mall and spent an hour wandering around in masks, just chatting. We couldn’t even get a coffee. But somewhere between the closed restaurants and walking around the mall, we found a reason to keep talking.
Since then, we’ve discovered that our favourite thing about being together is how easily we understand one another. Our personalities just gel. We make each other laugh, and being ourselves around each other has always felt natural. That shared sense of humour has become a big part of our love story.
On 29 December 2025, that story took us to a wine farm in Constantia. With a little help from Storm’s brother, Ethan had planned a proposal. Storm’s response was immediate and entirely her own: “I f***ing knew it!”—followed by tears.
It was a moment full of laughter, emotion and a few words that probably won’t make it into the wedding vows.
From a Tinder match to a masked walk around Fourways Mall, and now to our wedding day, we’ve found so much happiness in simply being together. We can’t wait to begin married life with the same understanding, laughter and love that brought us here—and to celebrate it with all of you.
